Ifield’s wreath laying and Remembrance Service will begin at 10.20am on Remembrance Sunday, November 11.

St Margaret’s Church holds two services - one before and one after the two minutes’ silence - to give everyone a chance to attend.

The first starts at 10.20am in the church, and is intended for young people and their families.

This service then moves to the war memorial in the churchyard at 11am for the two minutes’ silence and wreath laying.

The second service will be held afterwards, beginning at the war memorial and then moving into the church.

This year’s event is also marking 100 years since the end of the First World War.
