In today’s Crawley Observer a young dad who died in a crash was ‘generous, kind and willing to help anybody,’ says his family.

Also in today’s Observer tributes have been paid to a ‘kindhearted and selfless’ shop owner who spent many years trading in Crawley town centre and thousands of jobs are being cut and poor funding has left schools at crisis point.

In sport Crawley Town owner Ziya Eren is happy to keep using the training ground at Oakwood FC’s Tinsley Lane and Crawley Town has begun the task of finding a successor to departed first team coach Dermot Drummy.

The club are looking at appointing a younger person with knowledge of the club who his hungry for success.
