Jeremy Corbyn said he was confident Labour would win in Crawley in the next general election.

The opposition leader visited a Southgate pre-school yesterday (November 11) and said: “We are going to be campaigning very hard to support the Labour council in Crawley then we will select a parliamentary candidate.

“This will partly depend on what happens to the boundaries because the Goverment is intent on changing boundaries.

“Then we will campaign very hard because everybody needs housing and peole need security in their work and security in their lives and Labour can offer that.”

During his visit to Caterpillar Pre-School, Ditchling Hill, he also spoke to parents and staff about his opposition to Tory proposals to cut working tax credits.
