Crawley’s St Catherine’s Hospice is launching an exciting way to fundraise with its first overseas challenge.
People will get an authentic insight into the lifestyle of the people who live in the area.
Louise Brown, events fundraiser at St Catherine’s Hospice, said: “Our Vietnam trek is incredibly exciting. We’re really looking forward to raising money in a way we’ve never done before. Of course, we’ll be guided on the trip by seasoned professionals, The Different Travel Company.
“Not only will every member of our ‘Hanoi Hikers’ have a once in a lifetime experience, challenging themselves and forming strong bonds with their fellow travellers, they’ll be making a massive difference to someone when they truly need it. For each day of the trek, each trekker will help raise enough money to provide five hours of vital hospice care to someone with a terminal illness.”
The trip will take place April 9-17, 2016. To find out more go to www.stch.org.uk/vietnamtrekker or call 01293 447364. There is also an information evening at 7pm on Thursday February 26 at St Catherine’s Hospice, Malthouse Road, Crawley, RH10 6BH.
St Catherine’s Hospice provides end of life care and support to terminally ill people and their families across Crawley, Horsham, East Surrey and Mid Sussex.
