The two level crossings in Crawley town centre will be closed for track repairs for two nights.
The Horsham Road and Brighton Road level crossings will be closed overnight on Monday and Tuesday (August 3 to 5), from 10pm to 5am.
A spokesman for the county council said an alternative route for traffic will be signed on site via Ifield Road, Pegler Way, Station Way, Southgate Avenue, Crawley Avenue, Horsham Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will not be maintained. Emergency and residential vehicular access to be maintained via the diversion route.
