Lions knitting chicks for Easter

Talented members of the Crawley Lions club have been picking up their knitting needles to prepare for their Easter fundraiser.

The club hopes to raise £3,000 at Wyevale Garden Centre by selling knitted Easter chicks and tickets to the Easter Hamper draw.

So far, more than 400 chicks have been knitted – four times the target set by the team – and each will
be sold with a Cadburys Crème Egg.

The Lions are also on the lookout for DVDs to sell on their stalls at Crawley
and Gatwick railway

If you have any DVDs suitable for family viewing which you would like to donate, contact Gary Davies on 07950 323000.
