The Mayor, Cllr Bob Burgess, and the Youth Mayor Tumsil Abbas, 18, were blindfolded and led through the Mall by Lion Gary Davies. Tumsil said: “I felt really intimidated walking down the Mall not being able to see anything at all. Walking back I felt really enclosed and it’s kind of given me an insight of what it’s like to be a blind person.” To join the Lions contact Gary on 07950 323000.
