Little Common Community Centre

Little Common Community Centre held an Extraordinary General Meeting in the Centre last Thursday, 10th March, to ratify and accept the new Constitution for the Centre. This makes effective a change in the Constitution to a Company Limited by Guarantee, which has now been registered with the Charity Commissioners. The Chairman, Stuart Earl, explained the difference this made to the responsibility of the Trustees. The motion was carried unanimously. The Chairman also discussed with the Members the programme of updating the Centre, including a redecoration of the Sandhurst Room and the possibility of starting a Hub at the Centre. He asked that all the Members participated by making suggestions on improvements they consider necessary. The meeting then welcomed Michael Jeanes as the new President. Mr Jeanes has been connected with the Centre for 28 years and his appointment was greatly appreciated.
