Little Tykes raise cash for charity with coffee morning
Tykes Pre-school raised £222.36 for Macmillan Cancer Trust when they took part in the World's Biggest Coffee Morning on September 27.
Family, friends and members of the public popped in to the three branches – in Northgate, Tilgate and Broadfield – for a cuppa, and they even received support from the police station, in Woodfield Road, Northgate. The children even made some of the cakes themselves. Jane Bond-Roberts, of Tykes, said: “It was great to see everybody getting involved and coming together as a community.”
