Littlehampton stabbing victim making good progress

A MAN who was stabbed in the neck in Littlehampton town centre is said to be making a good recovery.

The 33-year-old was attacked in Duke Street at about 6.30pm on Saturday (January 2), before stumbling to the nearby Globe pub for help.

He was taken to St Richard's Hospital, Chichester, for emergency surgery and is expected to be allowed to go home soon.

No one has yet been arrested for the attack, which resulted in the town centre being cordoned off by police for more than three hours, while forensic officers searched the area.
