Lost Toy Dog Helps Children In Need

Over £110 was raised for Children In Need by Mummery Funeral Directors branch in Ninfield Road.

Visitors were invited to try to guess the right post code for the "lost toy dog", with everyone paying a pound per go, and the winner able to take the fluffy pooch home.

Community Relations Organiser Denise Harrison-Clark said: "It was absolutely lovely.

"Also the ladies from the branch - Jackie Herring and Helen Hermon - made lots of pretty cakes which we gave to people for a donation.

"We were very pleased, especially considering we had never done anything like that in the branch in Sidley before, so it was really nice to do something new for the community, and for children really."
