M23 reopens after ‘police incident’
Traffic was stopped on the M23 between Crawley and Gatwick due to a police incident.

The road was affected southbound between junction nine and ten due to the ‘police led incident’, Highways England said.
Both carriageways were shut but have now reopened, they said.
Earlier Sussex Police said: “Police responded to concerns for the welfare of a woman by the M23 near Gatwick Airport at 12.15pm on Friday (30 April).”
