Man, 41, dies after being found lying in Sussex village street with head injury
A man found lying in a village street with a head injury has died, police have confirmed.

Emergency services were called to a report of a man with a head injury who was found lying in The Street, Thakeham, near the White Lion Inn at 11.40pm on Friday (October 9), a police spokeswoman said.
He added: “The air ambulance landed and paramedics went to the scene to administer first aid. Sadly despite their efforts, the 41-year-old man died at the scene.”
The death is not being treated as suspicious and has been referred to the coroner’s officer, the spokesman said.
