A Horley man was arrested on suspicion of driving offences after a truck was overturned.
Officers were called to Broadbridge Lane, Smallfield, at around 11.20pm on Friday (May 15) after the occupants of an overturned truck left the scene, said Surrey Police
Police Dog (PD) Chester together with his handler located a mann in a nearby field.
A 26-year-old man was charged with driving a motor vehicle whilst over the prescribed alcohol limit and failure to stop after a road accident.
He was released on bail and is due to appear at East Surrey Magistrates Court, Redhill on June 15.
