Man banned from roads after being caught drink-driving in Crawley


A man has been banned from the roads after he was caught drink-driving in Crawley last month.

Kevin Warner, of Withyham, near Hartfield, was arrested at 6.25pm on June 18 after police stopped his Land Rover Discovery on the A2011.

Police said the 34-year-old had 46 millilitres of alcohol per 100 millilitres in his breath, the legal limit is 35.

Warner, pleaded guilty to drink-driving when he appeared at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on July 2.

He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £400 and ordered to pay £235 costs and a £40 victim surcharge.
