Man killed and Bexhill driver hurt in crash

A Hastings man has been killed in a crash in Dallington.

The 43-year-old, who has not yet been identified by police, died last night (Thursday) when his motorcycle collided with two cars on the B2096 at Carrick Hill.

A woman from Bexhill, who was driving one of the cars, was also treated for minor injuries at the Conquest Hospital.

The accident happened just before 7.45pm and involved a Suzuki motorbike, a Ford Ka and Ford Mondeo.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other driver was uninjured.

The road was closed for five hours and re-opened just after 1am this morning.

The cause of the crash is currently being investigated.
