Met Office issues amber weather warning
The Met Office has issued an amber weather warning, with high winds expected across West Sussex.
For much of today (Wednesday February 5), winds are expected to gust to around 50-60mph and rain will be heavy at times.
A spokesman warned the public should be prepared for the risk of disruption to transport and power due to fallen trees.
High winds are expected to continue throughout the week until Saturday (February 8).
