Missing dog may have been stolen

HEARTBROKEN owners of a missing yellow labrador believe he was stolen.

Graham and Philippa Williams, from Hailsham's Archery Walk, say there has been no sign of Bramble (left) since July 26.

The labrador and Alfie, the Williams' great dane, went to work with Mr Williams at a farm near Bodle Street Green.

But both dogs disappeared and Mr Williams thought they were chasing rabbits.

Seven hours later only Alfie returned, looking distressed and with sore paws.

Mrs Williams believes Bramble may have been re-sold to a new owner.

She said: 'All my children have grown up and Bramble is like a baby to me.

'We have had him since he was seven weeks old.

'He is such a personality, a member of our family.

'Everyone loves him and he loves everybody.'

Bramble was microchipped, wore a red collar and is described as very friendly..
