Mother assaulted in front of child in Pound Hill

A mother was assaulted in front of her child whilst cycling through Pound Hill, police have said

Officers said the woman was cycling along a path in Station Hill at around 7pm on Tuesday (May 10) when the assault took place.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said a man pushed her before throwing a water bottle at her and walking away. He then jumped in a car and drove off, the spokesman added.

The man is described as white, in his 30s, and bald. He was wearing a maroon jacket and black shoes.
