MUSIC: German flavour to evening of light music

An audience of about 50 people enjoyed an evening of German music held by Bognor Regis Twinning Association.

Some of the group's members were joined by students from the town's German language classes and others for the cultural event.

The light-hearted occasion, A Little Night Music with Words, was presented by local musicians Anita Lemon, Tom Jeffers and Frank Pattison.

The evening, which also included a buffet, was held at the Jubilee Community Centre in Chalcraft Lane by the association's social committee.

It was the first social event of the year held to promote the association and to raise funds to entertain the guests from the two German twin towns of Weil and Rhein and Trebbin when they visit Bognor.
