Camelot said in a statement:
Camelot, operator of The National Lottery, has today confirmed that it has had a claim staked for the EuroMillions jackpot prize won by a UK ticket-holder from the draw on Friday 23 February 2018. In the draw two ticket-holders shared the massive £155M jackpot.
The UK ticket-holder has banked £77,798,898.10. The other winning ticket was purchased in Spain. There were also seven £1M winners made in the UK in the special event draw and all players are urged to check their tickets to see if they are a winner.
The jackpot prize will be paid out at the ticket validation appointment, which can only take place when the banks are open. The ticket-holder will then decide whether or not to go public and share their news. There will be no information on whether it is an individual or syndicate winner, or where the ticket was purchased unless the ticket-holder decides to go public.
