New cheaper ticket scheme for young people

A new scheme has been launched to give young people aged 16-25 the chance to experience top-class theatre at venues including Chichester Festival Theatre at an affordable price.

The CFT is inviting young people to join Play Pass during Festival 2011, and membership is free. Those who do sign up will be entitled to buy tickets for Festival Theatre productions at previews and press nights for £7.50. Members will be able to buy a maximum of two tickets each, three weeks before each Festival Theatre production opens.

For further details about Play Pass, including terms and conditions and performance availability, go to www.cft.org.uk/playpass or contact the Box Office on 01243 781312.

Play Pass is a follow-up to the Arts Council’s A Night Less Ordinary initiative, which enabled over 3,000 young people to see performances for free at Chichester Festival Theatre between 2009-2011.
