NICE holds Hastings Question Time

Top health bosses will be in Hastings for a Question Time event later this month.

NICE, the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence, is holding a Question Time Event and its public board meeting at the Conquest Hospital on Wednesday, July 20.

“It is an honour for us that NICE are coming to the trust to hold their Question Time session and public board meeting,” said Dr Adrian Ball, chief executive of East Sussex Healthcare Trust.

“It is a great way for local people and NHS staff to get involved in NICE by putting their views and questions to the NICE senior management team.

“It provides an opportunity to find out more about how NICE can support the provision of high quality care.”

The event will be held at the Education Centre of the hospital on The Ridge, St Leonards.

It starts at 12.30pm with a buffet lunch.

The Question Time session is between 12.30pm and 1.30pm with the NICE public board meeting starting at 1.45pm and finishing around 4.30pm.

The event is open to patients, the public, health care professionals and all those working in the NHS.

It is an opportunity to put questions to NICE’s chief executive, chairman and senior staff directly.

Those attending can find out more about how NICE can support local people to address healthcare needs and reduce health inequalities in East Sussex and the surrounding area.
