Anyone who visits the Taylor Wimpey sales information centre off Steers Lane will be offered the opportunity to place a vote for any Crawley charity, community group or fundraising initiative they feel is deserving of support.

The new charity suggestion box was unveiled at the development on Sunday February 14 and the good cause with the most votes each month will receive a £250 donation.

Taylor Wimpey regional sales and marketing director Sarah Pasco said: “We’re keen to support worthy causes in the areas where we build – but we’re conscious that people aren’t always aware that funding from Taylor Wimpey might be available to them.

“That’s why we’ve launched our exciting new charity suggestion box scheme at Forge Wood, and we hope that visitors to the development will really get behind this fantastic initiative.

“You don’t have to be looking for a new home to get involved and nominations are welcome for a variety of potential recipients – including charitable groups, individuals raising money for good causes, fundraising appeals, local schools in need of new books or equipment, sports clubs or community organisations.”

To nominate a good cause visit the centre open daily from 10am to 5pm. Alternatively, the call the sales executive on 01293 228958.

The first winner will be chosen at the end of March.
