Malcolm Walls believed it was only the second time Icelandair’s ‘unusual’ Hekla Aurora aircraft was at the airport.

The airline says its main cabin has a mood-lighting display of the Northern Lights, a natural phenomenom also called the Aurora Borealis, and that Hekla is a traditional Icelandic girl’s name and one of the country’s volcanoes.
