Open-air swim treats

FESTIVE treats are being offered to visitors at Arundel open-air lido over the New Year.

Mulled wine, hot drinks and seasonal food will be available for those who take the festive plunge.

Ben Centa, the Lido’s general manager, said: “We have listened to people’s comments and they will be pleased to know that we have raised the temperature of the water in the pool!”

The main pool will be open 10am until 1pm New Year’s Eve (Saturday December 31), New Year’s Day (Sunday January 1) and the Bank Holiday Monday (January 2). Entry is £4 for adults, £2 for under-18s and free for under-5s and over-80s.
