Blake in Felpham
JUST TO put Ken Scott straight, William Blake lived in Felpham, not Middleton-on-Sea, where Blake's Cottage still stands in Blakes Road.
On Sunday, May 8, the Blake memorial window in St Mary’s Church was dedicated by Canon Frayling. The window was installed last November, and was paid for by donations from local fundraising events. The first of these was a wonderful tea party held to celebrate William Blake’s 250th anniversary in November 2007.
If you are in Felpham do go into the church to see this beautiful memorial.
