Barry the Badger makes my weekend such fun!

Hi kids. Last weekend I had the most exciting time with my second best friend Barry the Badger.

On Friday, Barry was allowed to come to my house for a sleepover which was the best news ever!

We made a fort in my bedroom and pretended we were Arctic explorers, searching for polar bears.

We pretended mum and dad were the polar bears (like this one, on the right) and we had to try and sneak up close to them without them realising! It was so funny!

On Saturday morning, mum allowed us to make fruit smoothies for breakfast. We put strawberries, blueberries, apples and bananas into the smoothie maker. Mum pressed the button and they all went whizz!

The smoothies were super yummy and Barry even had a second helping.

After breakfast we all walked into the village where there was the most amazing village fair! There were loads and loads of stalls selling cool stuff but Barry and I were most excited about the games.

First of all we went to a stall where we had to throw a ball to try and knock a coconut off a perch, and Barry told me it was called a coconut shy.

I managed to knock over a coconut and so I won a pirate hat as a prize!

Then we went on the helter skelter slide which was super fun even though we were a bit dizzy afterwards.

Then we went on the bouncy castle and we tried to see how high we could jump!

When we got off the bouncy castle, mum and dad said we could get an ice-cream as it was so sunny and warm. Barry said he would come and stay more often!

Chip chip for now!
