There is exciting news this week, as we have a brand-new Chestnut Tree House shop launching at 62 North Street, Chichester tomorrow (February 12).

We are looking for volunteers who can spare a few hours each week to help out in the shop.

Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, learn new skills and polish up your CV if you are looking for work. Whether you are a savvy salesperson or just have a passion for fashion, then come along and share your skills.

No experience is necessary; it’s all about wanting to help out and learn as you go and full training will be given. You will be helping to sort donated stock, serve customers and use the till.

The hours of work can be flexible but ideally we are looking for volunteers who can donate four hours of their time per shift from 9am to 1pm or 1pm to 5pm. Shifts are available Monday to Saturday.

If you can help, please call us on 01903 706315 or email [email protected]

We also need donations of clothes, books, toys, homeware, CDs, DVDs and bric-a-brac to help raise vital funds so we can care for children with life-shortening illnesses in Sussex.
