Brighten the lives of Arun’s needy adults
The Arun Sunshine Group offers a special outreach programme to help adults with learning disabilities get the most out of life.
The charity, which is based at Dove Lodge, in Beach Road, Littlehampton, is now hunting for a new volunteer session worker to brighten the lives of those supported by the good cause.

Hide AdThe position would see session workers organising games and entertainment as well as taking a role in arranging occasional day trips across the county.
Activities could range from playing pool, board games or skittles, to arts and crafts, creating jigsaws and taking part in bingo.
The group meets at the lodge on alternate Sundays, between 2-5pm.
No special skills are required for the role, applicants are asked to be enthusiastic, caring and willing to help.

Hide AdMinibus drivers are needed to provide a vital lifeline to the outside world for those with learning disabilities.
The Aldingbourne Trust is appealing for drivers from across the Arun area to collect people from the Aldingbourne Country Centre, just past Fontwell, and transport them across the district. A current driving licence and good timekeeping skills are required.
Arrangements for working times and dates are flexible.
