Do you feel like getting all creative, like me kids?

THIS week we had the day off school on bank holiday Monday, so I went shopping with my mum.
Chipper.Chipper.
Chipper.

We visited lots of shops and I bought a brand-new collar. It was bright red, I couldn’t wait to wear it to school! Mum and I were so tired from all the shopping, we had to have a break.

We sat down in a café to have lunch.

I had a jam sandwich and a big slice of cake, it was delicious! I washed it down with a big glass of orange juice.

I was so full up from my big lunch, we decided to go on a walk around Chichester in the sunshine. As we were walking around, we saw all the amazing street art!

There were drawings on the sides of big buildings – the pictures were huge! I had never seen art like that before. My mum said professional artists were allowed to draw these pictures on the walls...they hadn’t drawn them without asking! When we got home, I wanted to be like the artists and draw a picture of my own – not on the walls though!

I got out my box of crayons and a large piece of paper. I drew a picture of me in my shiny new collar.

I used lots of colours to make my drawing bright and colourful. I was proud of my drawing!

When I showed the picture to my mum and dad, they were so impressed that they wanted to hang it up.

So now my picture is hanging up on the wall of our kitchen, just like the street art! Every time I see it, it reminds me of the great day out with my mum and all the amazing art I saw in the city.

Can you send me a picture of some of your best works of art, Chipsters?

Chip chip for now!
