A wonderful display

ON behalf of all members of the Society of Bexhill Museums Ltd I would like to congratulate Bexhill 100 Motoring Club for staging such a wonderful display at the recent Classic Motor Show in Birmingham.

Bexhill residents should be rightly proud of the club for the way it consistently promotes our town and at the same time support local charities and good causes. They are a shining example of how a group of enthusiasts can work together in a positive way to enhance all our lives.

Speaking personally, I believe that our town is fortunate in that we host clubs and groups such as the 100 Motoring Club, Lions, Rotary, Old Town Preservation Society and dare I say it the Museum Society.

Organisations such as these are the bedrock of a true community.

At present that community appears to be very divided.

But I believe that these divisions are only temporary and hopefully peace will soon break out both within the pages of the Observer and beyond.
