Bexhill care home is doing wonders in a very difficult time

In these unprecedented times in which we are living it is such a relief to know that the staff at Bay House Nursing Home in Bexhill are doing all that they can to protect and care for my 89 year old mother who resides there.

With a strict lockdown and social distancing protocol it has of course been difficult to accept the fact that as a family we won’t be able to hug and kiss Mum as we would like, however, the Bay House staff have gone beyond and above what is to be expected.

We are fortunate to receive from them with the use of social media regular videos, phone calls, FaceTime and other apps which have proved so vital in enabling us to maintain a regular contact with mum much to her welcomed surprise.

Mum although greatly missing her family was helped last week to celebrate her 89th birthday, her room was decorated the staff provided a cake and made a real fuss of mum, they really have become her family.

Bay House takes the time to update all the family’s with the progress at Bay House and the measures being taken to combat this dreadful virus.

To all the men and women at Bay House you know who you are a big thank you from me and all my family.
