MAY I just say, in response to the recent letter re Cowboy traders, that readers CAN use local tradespeople safely by using the East Sussex Buy With Confidence scheme.
This is a list of approved traders, very rigorously checked by the county council’s Trading Standards officers who make sure that they provide high standards of customer care and are operating legally.
