Expert treatment saved my husband
I cannot thank enough the team of the West Sussex Ambulance Service whose prompt action on February 1, almost certainly saved the life of my husband, who had suffered damaging head injuries after collapsing and falling down the stairs.
The prompt action of the receptionist ensured that the ambulance was outside our house almost immediately after dialling 999. After that my husband was attended constantly by medics and doctors and it was decided quickly to transfer him by air ambulance to the specialist unit at King’s College Hospital, London.
At no time was he unattended and the expert medical treatment continued at King’s College. I am pleased to say that my husband is now at home and nearly back to normal.
