I use Stagecoach Eastbourne to get to and from work but what a shambles they have been during this current climate.

I accept that they had to cut services due to lack of passengers but not being able to get a bus to Langney before 7am was not helpful.

It’s even worse now people have gone back to work .

Due to the limited capacity allowed on buses I have been refused, along with other work colleagues, entry on the bus.

I get a bus an hour before work to ensure I arrive on time.

Yet on the bus before 9.30am are pensioners using their bus passes. This is very unfair .

Stagecoach tells me this is down to the council.

Drivers say if I was a keyworker they would make an exception, but surprise surprise they only class NHS staff as key workers even though as a shop worker the government says I am.

On top of that, Boris Johnson said you need to wear face coverings... well not many do on our buses.

I have asked Stagecoach why they do not put on double deckers at key times but have yet to hear back.

Not everyone can afford a taxi to work, especially if their partner is furloughed.

I pay £55 per month for my bus pass but do not get the service.

Come on Stagecoach get your act together and give workers the service they pay for.
