Lack of collectors hit bonfire cash
I READ with great interest your comments about the sum collected during the recent bonfire celebration.
Could one of the reasons for the relatively low amount be that there were far fewer collectors this year?
We stood outside the church of St Mary the Virgin before and after the procession passed by and we only saw one collector the whole time we were there.
