Did councillors Mecrow, Burgess or Crow also protest when Crawley Festival’s Mainstage event was held in Memorial Gardens, with its loud music, stilt walkers, games, stalls and general razzmatazz? I think not. I didn’t object to that either. At least one of us was consistent.
