LETTER: Scrap ugly mess of a fountain
I do not understand why the council is so concerned with the cost of removing the monstrosity at the bottom of West Street in Horsham.
Have you thought what is has cost to repair over the years?
Just scrap the ugly mess, it is dangerous when wet and icy and looks like a toffee apple split down the middle.
As for the Bishopric, just leave it alone, with plants and trees that are there. We all know where the shops are without having to cut these down.
You council people haven’t lived in Horsham all your life and appear to want to ruin everything that is good about the town while keeping the bad.
