LETTER: What will city status mean?

I would ask Henry Smith our MP for Crawley to enhance on his call in the Observer to give Crawley City Status and explain in greater detail just how it will improve the infrastructure and services of our town.

This would allow the good people of crawley a better insight as to what city Status will actually mean.

Of course Jeremy Taylor leader of Gatwick Diamond thinks it to be a great idea as once granted city status he would immediately start crowing on it would require a second runway at Gatwick.
