Policies coming
THE government is about to publish new planning policies which could change the face of our local area for ever. They risk biased planning decisions and require authorities to presume in favour of new development.
As members of Bognor Regis Civic Society, we have seen too many instances of wrong decisions being taken by a local authority ignorant of local circumstances and local needs and we have been campaigning for a fair planning system with our national body Civic Voice and hundreds of other civic societies across England.
Everyone who cares about where we live must oppose the mistaken principle which is being proposed.
