Poor response to the letter on Jane Wood's empire

WHAT a self-opinionated response from the editor to Mr Smith's letter (Gazette, November 6) on how the Gazette keeps giving publicity to the growing Jane Wood empire in Littlehampton.

People I talk to no longer take your paper because of such articles and the lack of good local news and topics.

How much better to have had the biggest and best event of the year in Littlehampton, Bonfire Night, on the front page, and Jane Wood on page 8.

I see in the Littlehampton Bonfire Society programme listing sponsors and donations, that despite her East and West Beach Cafs being open and benefiting from Bonfire Night, she does not support the society.
