Runway suggestion pie in the sky
Ford Airfield and the adjoining land is mostly good farming land and the brownfield site is the runways and factory area.
It was never denied that the runways were to stay and, in fact, there is a sign by the office entrance at Ford stating that the boot sales and market were to be maintained if the Eco-Town was built. It was mentioned by Mrs Felstead that other areas which are being considered for development should not have their green fields built on, so, what is different about the farmland around Ford, Yapton and Climping, which they are trying to make out it is brownfield land?

Hide AdAll parishes should take the responsibility to allow houses to be built in their areas, so development is spread, and not try to put the emphasis on one large development, destroying communities and used farmland, to avoid building being done in their parishes.
