Torch well worth it, despite the rain
WOW, what an experience seeing the Olympic Torch go through Worthing – which was the nearest part of the relay route to my home in East Preston.
The crowds, the atmosphere was amazing, despite all the rain it was well worth it.
Thank you so much Stagecoach 700 who put on an empty bus to ship us back to East Preston and beyond. The bus was packed full of happy, wet people and the bus driver was great, too. The journey home made it a great end to an amazing day.
