As featured in your paper, I see that there details of phase two of the town centre redevelopment plan – that is from Bankers Corner to pedestrianise Bolton Road and in time the top end of Terminus Road which should be renamed Victoria Place.

What provision is going to be made for cyclists?

The BID team group should also consider budgeting for the installation of tactile paving at the crossing by the station to Terminus Road which should have been done in phase one.

This is necessary for those folk who are visually impaired as there is nothing to indicate that they are half way across.
