Thank you to the spectators

I would like to take the opportunity to congratulate, firstly, Eric Hardwick and his hard working band of helpers on yet another highly successful Hastings Half Marathon on Sunday.

As an ever growing running club at Hastings Runners with over 400 members now we really appreciate such a fine home event and support it with much enthusiasm by running and helping out in many ways.

The real heroes though and the main reason for writing is to thank the many, many good folk of Hastings who turn out in such huge numbers to cheer us on. The conditions for running were near perfect but it was only too obvious it was not the case for watching and so the spectators deserve this special thank you
