Director of the open house Peter Mansfield-Clark said Worth Abbey had supported Crawley Open House since it opened 19 years ago and had raised many thousands of pounds for the charity over the years.

He said: “Their support enables us to help even more homeless and disadvantaged men, women and families at a time when we are getting ever busier due to the effects of the recession in this country.”

Monies raised at the concert for will go towards completing the funding for the hostel’s new laundry room. Which has £4k outstanding.

Tickets, at £10 each, are available by calling the parish on 01342 710 313.
