COFFEE MORNINGS: This week the coffee mornings will be organised by: Monday and Wednesday, Sussex Pet Rescue; Tuesday, Lyn; Thursday, Wendy Veck and Friday, Augsut 12, UKIP.

COMMUNITY CAFÉ: Now open six mornings, in the foyer, Community House, Meridian Centre. Tea, coffee, egg, bacon, sausage sandwiches and cooked breakfasts available. Run by local charities. Monday and Wednesday morning the community café is organised by Sussex Pet Rescue

KNOW DEMENTIA: Memory moments café. Everyone welcome, especially those with memory problems and their family supporter. Every Friday from 10am to 1pm, Anzac Room, Community House. Meridian Centre.

HORTICULTURAL SHOW: Peacehaven Horticultural Show tomorrow, Saturday, 10.30am to 2pm Main Hall Community House, Meridian Centre. For further information contact Alison 01273 589502. Entry £1.

BINGO: As well as monthly Friday Bingo evenings the Mayor will run Monthly Wednesday afternoon sessions. The first will take place on August 24 at 2pm. Please contact the council office for further dates and details. The next Friday session will be held on August 19 at 7pm at Community House.

THE DELL: There will be a car boot sale at the Dell on Sunday organised by the Conservative group. Sellers at 8am buyers from 9am.

FUN FAIR: Coles fair will be at the Dell from August 11 to 14.

COUNCIL MEETINGS: There will be no council meetings next week.
