SUMMER HOLIDAYS: Schools break up this week for the summer, hope everyone has a great holiday and good luck to all children who are moving on to the next stage of their school lives in September whether it is Pre School, Primary School or Secondary School.

PEASMARSH MEMORIAL HALL: Please make sure to check out the Memorial hall’s website http://peasmarshmh.btck.co.uk/ to see all the regular events/classes/groups that take place at the hall. We are lucky to have such a variety of things going on - Brownies, Guides, Yoga, Zumba, Flower Arranging, Sing for Fun, Mother and Toddler group as well as events such as the monthly Arts and Crafts Fairs, Film Club, Film Nights, Quiz evenings; plus the doctor’s surgeries twice a month, the list goes on! The hall also has a Facebook page - go along and give it a ‘like’.

ROCK AND ROLL NIGHT: The Rock and Roll and Sixties Music Night will be on Saturday August 15 at the Memorial hall. Tickets are now available, (£13) from Jan Weston at 20 School Lane - you can ring her on 01797 230877 between 6 and 7pm, or from the St Michael’s Hospice shop in Rye between 10am and 4pm. Tickets are limited so please buy them early - if enough aren’t sold by August 10 this event will have to be cancelled.

DOCTOR’S SURGERIES: The surgeries for August will be held on Tuesdays 4 and 18 at 11.30am at the hall. All appointments should be booked through Rye Medical Centre.

CHURCH SERVICES: This Sunday July 26 there will be a Family Service at Beckley church at 10am, all welcome.
