ANNUAL PARISH ASSEMBLY: This will be held on Wednesday March 25 at 7.30. Volunteer Rother First Responders will be coming to give a presentation which will include a demonstration of Basic Life Support and the use of a defibrillator. Come along and speak to your parish councillors about any concerns you might have, all are welcome and refreshments will be served.

YOGA CLASSES: Yoga Classes will be starting at the hall with Laura Leslie from Always Yoga. “Yoga for all. Calming breath, relaxation and poses for flexibility and strengthening. All abilities welcome. I can work with injuries and medical problems. Classes on Tuesday evenings at 7pm starting March 24 and on Wednesdays at 9.30am starting on March 25, £7.00. BINGO: Come along to the hall on Saturday March 28 for a fun evening of Bingo in aid of Flying Start Pre School! Entrance fee of £5 per adult (this evening is not suitable for children) includes your first game and a glass of wine, doors open 7pm, eyes down at 7.30pm. Any donations for prizes would be very welcome!

DOCTORS SURGERIES: The dates for surgeries in April are Tuesdays 14 and 28, 11.30 am for booked appointments only - please book your appointment with Rye Medical Centre.

FILM NIGHT: The next Film Night at the hall will be on Saturday April 18, the film shown will be Paddington, cert PG. Please contact Hilary on 230205 to book tickets in advance.

FILM CLUB: A reminder that a group of Peasmarsh residents are forming a Film Club to show films of their choice. The proposed cost is £20 p.a. for 9 films showing throughout the year. Please contact Hilary on 230205 or email [email protected] for more information or to register an interest.

PEASMARSH CALENDAR COMPETITION: The Memorial hall Committee and Peasmarsh Primary School are running a photographic competition to find photographs for a 2016 Peasmarsh Calendar. The competition runs from February 1 until September 11 and the winners will be announced in the October edition of the Peasmarsh Periodical. The competition is open to anyone and is free to enter, full details and entry form plus terms and conditions can be found at www.peasmarshmh.org.uk/photocomp . Some of the photos that have already been submitted can be seen on the Memorial hall’s website.

ROCK AND ROLL NIGHT: There is another Rock and Roll Night planned with ‘Something Else’ for August 15; tickets will probably be available in June - put the date in your diaries now!

TABLE TOP SALE: There will be a Table Top Sale this Sunday at Beckley Village hall from 10am until noon.

CHURCH SERVICES: This Sunday March 22 both the 8am and 10am services will be at Beckley church. On Easter Sunday (April 5) there will be an Easter Egg Hunt in Peasmarsh church following the Family Communion at 10am.
